The Homeopaths - In conjunction with the Maya Homeopathic Practice:
Rosalind Floyd
Like many mothers I was desperate to find an alternative to surgery for my eldest child's chronic tonsillitis. I followed a neighbour's recommendation and consulted a homeopath. I was amazed that just one tablet of morbillinium antidoted her years of ill health since the measles vaccination and completely cured her. I had to find out more! That was in 1985. Since then I have studied classical homeopathy, became registered, and grown as a practitioner along with my patients. Homeopathy is particularly exciting at the moment as many new remedies are brought into use and systematised. We have more choice than ever in finding an affinity-substance to match people's ills. My first degree was in history in 1973. I then went into publishing. While at home with my young children I became an NCT Breastfeeding counsellor supporting new mothers. I studied at the London College of Classical Homeopathy, graduating in 1995, then the Dynannis School for 2 years. I recently attended the Bombay School courses in Goa and London.
Registered with the Society of Homeopaths.
Veronica Rago
Ironically, I was first introduced to Homeopathy at Guy's Hospital Medical School, whilst a student there in 1976. This influenced my decision to re-consider the 'Allopathic' way and I left to do Youth & Community Work. After 10 years I realised that possibly a more effective way of making a difference was to work therapeutically with individuals. I chose Homeopathy, partly because it is infinitely fascinating and my patients teach me something new each day. I have worked with all types of cases including some very challenging pathologies (I'll not list ailments here, as I don't wish to detract from the holistic nature of Homeopathy). One of the greatest pleasures and privileges of my work is to work in partnership with a patient prior to conception and have the opportunity to prescribe during the pregnancy, the birth, for the infant and then to witness the development into a beautiful great big adolescent! Qualifications CQSW (1982) Licentiate in Homeopathy from The London College of Classical Homeopathy(1992) Post-Graduate Diploma from the Dynamis School of Homeopathy (1995)
Registered with the Society of Homeopaths.
